- Lucrecia (of Fashion is Poison) wants you to be fully aware of the food you are putting in your body. She wants you to know exactly what high fructose corn syrup is & why it (& corn) is so incredibly bad for you. Prepare to be disgusted.
- Jonathan (my husband) thinks you should de-compartmentalize your life, & live in complete congruence.
- Jaka (from jakamerriman.com) touches on the beauty of being ugly.
- The Duchess of Cornwall finds modern music videos “bloody terrifying”; I concur.
- Vered (of Mom Grind) is petrified of restaurant salads. Why? Because they often have more calories in them than that dessert you passed as being too fattening.
- Michelle (of Wicked-Whimsy.com) says there will always be something to nitpick over when it comes to your body; & she thinks you should stop it.
- Rabbit Write is exploring what intimacy means.
- Erin (of The State I Am In) recognizes that you have the best of intentions, but sometimes the things you say to try to comfort can do more harm than good.

Oh my gosh, those sweaters are SOOOO in vogue in Sweden :) I have one in black that I actually wore today; great minds, my dear.
Gorgeous, as always. I love your hair too.
Yes, the calories in those salads were shocking. Thanks for the link.
1) I looooove that sweater. It looks amazingly comfy and that colour is wonderful on you!
2) Thanks for the shout-out!
3) Lucrecia’s articles made me squee! After I read “Omnivore’s Dilemma”, I’ve been freaked out about corn in all its forms.
Thanks for the links and the love!
ev’yan, your hair is awesome. thanks for the post, i always like being pointed in the right direction for “lunch reads”. xo, L
I very rarely get a salad when i’m out for that exact reason. They pile on the toppings and “tossed” dressing (which I really like to think of as doused) and it’s just not healthy at all.
Thanks for sharing the other links; definitely a lot of food for thought here!
I was just thinking about my need for a slightly oversized thermal shirt…Did you get it at H&M recently?

these links are amazing… I’m kind of reading two at the same time and couple days ago, I signed up to your husband’s blog and received a really good doc… really good first steps!
Can I also link.. my blog…
Today, I started the process of trying to take down my dreadlocs. I’ve had them for 8 yrs and 11 months. I always thought that once you have dreads, you can never undo them, but my little sister patiently spent 30mins undoing one and it works. I feel as if I’m transitioning into a new era and have grown more into a confident young lady/adult and it’s time to break free and have loose hair. :)
Also,my sister and I are rebuilding our relationship and are really bonding again, even more than before. Just shows how good it is to forgive and move. It seems hard at the beginning, but it’s so freeing and uplifting!
The color of your sweater is gorgeous! I want!
@ Vee: Yes, I bought this at H&M about 2 weeks ago. They also have it in white. :]
You always look amazing:) I absolutely adore you.
Completely love that look. That sweater is to die for. And your tights//shorts combo makes me wish I could wear shorts at work. I adore the whole look of pairing them together. Gorgeous.
I love how long your hair has gotten. :)
gorgeous outfit, so simple and chic!
Beautiful! Don’t you love Payless!?! I always find awesome shoes there and I love how they’re cheap!
Dark blue looks amazing on you!
