These are some of my favorite photographs since I started my project 365. I’ve noticed that my pictures have gotten significantly better with time since doing the project. While it’s meant to be strictly fun, it’s actually helping an eye of creativity in photography that I didn’t know I had. I’m really enjoying it so far, & am using Sven (our camera) much more these days.
Even so, I don’t feel it right to call myself a Photographer. The title is much too important for a girl like me, who has no concept of ISOs, shutter speeds, focal lengths, & white balances. How I’ve managed to produce decent photos without this knowledge is beyond me.
On another note: I am just itching to wear this jacket out. Unfortunately, LA is still hitting 90° F temperatures, which means there is no need to bundle up just yet. But… I foresee wearing this little beauty with some floral dresses or ripped jeans; perhaps with fraying shorts, if the weather cooperates. This was an early birthday present (which is a week away!) & I am glad I snagged it before it was gone forever.
(sidenote: “flotsam & jetsam” is my most favorite phrase.)
