apricot’s closet: grey scale.

button-down frock is vintage; hat is from H&M; shoes are from Cali; shorts (underneath) are from Ross; mini skull necklace is from my shop. (This dress was for sale in my shop but it never sold, so I ended up making friends with it again.)
I always…
- drop F-bombs.
- eat a banana (or two) in the morning before breakfast.
- tell people to “have fun” with whatever it is they’re doing. I’ll say, “Have fun at jury duty!” or “Have fun working!” when we all know that no one could ever possibly have fun doing those things. It’s a habit.
- take off my makeup before I go to bed.
- wear flat shoes.
- ask Jonathan silly, hypothetical “What if?” questions. For example, “What if I were a zombie? Would you let me eat you so that you could be a zombie with me?” or “Suppose you found out I was really born a man; would you still want to be with me in spite of that?”
- have cravings for cherry pie, a la mode.
I sometimes…
- wish my parents were back together.
- wonder if I’ll ever be a hairstylist again.
- pray, & then I stop myself because it seems as though I am only talking to myself.
- want to shave all of my hair off.
- wish I were shorter with smaller boobs; or… taller with bigger boobs.
- need to be left alone.
I never…
- eat the first bite of an apple, or drink caffeinated coffee.
- feel completely comfortable naked.
- practice my French anymore, which is quite sad because I was doing so well with it.
- know what to have for lunch.
- regret being married as young as I am.
- get tired of talking to my mother & sister, watching I Love Lucy reruns, or hearing Jonathan speak Cantonese.
Inspired by my lovely friend Kyla.
I’d also like to add that this economy can suck a big one. (My mother was laid off today.)

Finally I feel better knowing someone else who asks silly “what if?” questions. I’ve already asked Tyler the “what if I was really a male” question before. ;)

Cute look! I always wear flats too or what my sister’s call “tappers”, shoes with just enough heel height to make a tapping/clicking sound when I walk:)

I think this post is really cute (and also a bit sad). Love your blog!

I am in full agreement with your feelings toward the economy. I sometimes wish I could shave all my hair off too. I’ve come close, but never close enough.
