Jonathan & I met in the simplest, most unexpected of ways. Simple because it all started with “hello”; unexpected because, well… we met on Myspace.
I had seen several male profiles — strictly for friendship, mind you — before I saw Jonathan’s. His absolutely captivated me. His photograph was artistic & thought-provoking, & the contents within his profile were quite the rarity (for me at least). The books he read, the music he listened to, his personal beliefs, the movies he liked — everything was so different from what I was used to in men. (What was I used to, you ask? “Movies: Anything with Vin Diesel; Music: ICP, Nickleback, Metallica, & Kid Rock; Books: I don’t read; Religion: blowing shit up.”)
But Jonathan seemed to have his life together; plus, he was bloody gorgeous. It all seemed to good to be true, but I wrote him a message anyway, introducing myself & telling him — in not so many words — that I thought he was dreamy. (A rather forward, daring move on my part.) Within a few days, he responded back & we made a date to chat online.

leopard print dress (as mentioned earlier) is from Forever 21; sandals are from Target; chained necklace is from H&M; rings are miscellaneous.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley (& her adorable husband), Jimaie, Morgan, Alyssa, & Michelle for the very first time; Andrea, Nicole (who left early), Steph, Sarah, & Kerri were there, as well, & it was very good to see them again.
We all met at very loud — but adorable, nonetheless — cafe in Culver City for a “bruncheon”, where we ate amazing food & practically shouted at each other the entire time. Afterward, we really got a chance to get acquainted at a cute (& quiet) little coffee shop several blocks down. There, we sat outside underneath some umbrella tables, talked about everything under the sun, & got a bit of indigestion after watching a half-naked tranny reveal himself/herself in her apartment across the way.
It was an amazing time. Words cannot express it.

floral dress is from Forever21.com; boots & chain harness are from my girl, Alicia; bracelets are miscellaneous.
Aliens have taken over my body; I’m not even kidding. It’s so unlike me to be attracted to things with prints or patterns, let alone florals. I’m the girl that has more black in her wardrobe than white… So I’m sure you can understand my astonishment when I found myself drawn to this dress. I didn’t even give it a second thought.
Usually, I would have said, “Ooh, cute dress. But, oh damn… there’s flowers on it. Next.” No. Instead, I immediately thought, “I MUST HAVE THIS DRESS! Oh my god, & that leopard-printed one? GET IN MY CART!!!” (Yes… leopard print. Who the hell am I?! I never, ever wear leopard print!)
Seriously, this is either good news or bad news. Good news because perhaps I’m finally embracing color schemes outside of black, white & grey; bad news because I may have suffered some kind of brain aneurysm.
But good Lord, I love this dress. & these boots. & this harness.

button-down frock is vintage; hat is from H&M; shoes are from Cali; shorts (underneath) are from Ross; mini skull necklace is from my shop. (This dress was for sale in my shop but it never sold, so I ended up making friends with it again.)
I always…
- drop F-bombs.
- eat a banana (or two) in the morning before breakfast.
- tell people to “have fun” with whatever it is they’re doing. I’ll say, “Have fun at jury duty!” or “Have fun working!” when we all know that no one could ever possibly have fun doing those things. It’s a habit.
- take off my makeup before I go to bed.
- wear flat shoes.
- ask Jonathan silly, hypothetical “What if?” questions. For example, “What if I were a zombie? Would you let me eat you so that you could be a zombie with me?” or “Suppose you found out I was really born a man; would you still want to be with me in spite of that?”
- have cravings for cherry pie, a la mode.

1. Anchor Earrings. 2. Mini Skull Necklace. SOLD OUT! 3. Cross Earrings. SOLD! 4. Heart Key Earrings.
edit; & 30% off older jewelry. Click here for the sale!
As you know, I’ve been wearing the mini skull necklace incessantly. It’s currently my favorite necklace, because it’s so small & delicate that I don’t think people really know what it is. It’s as if the morbidity of the skull is my little secret; at least until someone sees it up close.
& the creation of earrings came out of no where. While I don’t wear dangly earrings — though I used to religiously — I’ve been drawn to making them for others. I think these earrings have a very punk rock feel to them. Perhaps it’s the gun-metal.
Nevertheless, I am so excited to debut these pieces. & I hope you enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed making them for you.
Also: please consider taking this private survey regarding my little shop. I would really appreciate your feedback!
