I am so excited to announce that my advice column is open for business!!!
If you are in need of advice — about love & relationships, fashion, beauty, life, or anything else you’re having trouble with — you may click on that cute blue typewriter on my sidebar, & it will take you straight to my new project. Then, click on the “CONTACT” button & you will taken to the advice submission form.
Before you do anything, though, please read my about page, as well as my FAQs. You will find everything you need to know in those pages, in edition to why I am doing an advice column in the first place.
Check out the first batch of advice questions:
- “how do you tell someone you’re not interested?”
- “I’m petite, but I want a cute swimsuit…”
- “should I dress my age?”
A BIG thank you is in order, to everyone who has submitted their advice to me. Your questions & my answers will be up very shortly, so keep checking back! (A great way to know when your question is up is to subscribe via email!)
To celebrate the launch of ask apricot, I’m doing my first ever giveaway! & the prizes are nothing short of amazing.

the giveaway!
The first winner will receive the book Style Statement: Live By Your Own Design, by Carrie McCarthy & Danielle LaPorte. Style Statement helps you define who you really are, in every aspect of your life: in your relationships, in your style choices, in the music you listen to, in your favorites & dislikes, etc. This book helped me tremendously when I was on the journey of discovering my true-self. I hold onto my style statement (genuine eloquence) with absolute pride.

The second winner will have the chance to pick out any one item of their choice from my little shop! There are many goodies to choose from. Handmade necklaces, vintage clothing, & items from my very own closet. Perhaps you’ve been coveting an item since it was listed. Here’s your chance to snag it before someone else does!

how to enter:
To enter the giveaway, you must dedicate a post on your blog to answering this question:
If you could write a letter to your younger self, giving advice for troubles that will happen in the future, what would it look like? What would you say? Would the letter be funny, or would it be serious?
I will pick two of my favorite letters & announce the winners here.
The Rules:
- You MUST link back to ask apricot in your question post, & I don’t care how you do it. If there isn’t a link, you will not be entered into the contest. So make sure you’ve got a link!
- Once you’ve written the letter on your blog, leave a comment here, with the link to your post inside. Then, you will be entered in the contest!
- Submissions for the giveaway end Thursday, at 9:oo PM Pacific time, so make sure you get your letter out within that time.
- & yes, this contest is open to the Internationals!
hi, i already wrote an entry about this.. can i point you that way or does it have to be a new entry?
@ floreta: If you have wrote about ask apricot launching, thank you very much! But to be entered in the contest, you need to have a post on your blog dedicated to answering the question I mentioned above.
