apricot’s closet: knit tunic.
knit tunic, headband, & undertank, from Target; shorts & sandals, from Ross; jewelry is miscellaneous. & a lovely little booty shot from Sofie Aiko.
In lieu of all the stressful endeavors I’ve endured with apartment searching, I am most certainly finding solace in the clothes I’ve been wearing. Funny how that works. While the rest of the world is in shambles, if I feel comfortable in my clothes, in my skin, I’ve got a smile on my face.
& apparently, Sofie’s bum is working the camera.

I love how you layer the knit top and the black tank top. The texture is really savvy and stylish.

i’m looking for an apartment too (different situation for me though - i just feel like it’s time ‘leave the nest’) and totally get how frustrating and stressful it can be…i was thisclose to signing for one that i really liked (finally) and a 65-year-old lady beat me to it by about an hour or two. yeah. seriously.

Way to try and focus on the good. And you look fab (as does your doggy’s bum!)

Okay, so this is my favorite outfit ever. This is something I would definitely wear - love the layering!
You are just lovely.
And I’ve always wondered: do you take your own photos or do you have your hubby take them of you? Because you always do such a great job, if it is you taking them of yourself. :)

I like that top! I’m gonna have to go to Target now.

I feel very much the same way. I’m a bit stressed with packing up my wardrobe, but as long as I’m comfortable in my clothes I manage to keep things together.

@ savvymode sg: thank you very much. :] This is one of my most favorite shirts.
@ kay*: I know that feeling; seriously. I’ve learned in this situation that when you see something you like, get it while you can because it might go away forever. (I think this applies solidly to everything in life.) I hope you have more luck than we have! ;/
@ Cammila: ;D thank you! I’ll tell her you said so.
@ wishcake: thanks, love! I actually use a tripod to take my pictures. Believe it or not, I am VERY camera shy; I won’t let my husband in on my “photoshoots” because he makes me bashful & nervous. He hates this… but I couldn’t take pictures with him watching. :] I hope my camera-shyness will get better with time…
@ thatShortChick: thank you, lovely. :] I appreciate that.
@ Angela: Oh yes, definitely go to Target. They have some lovely things. Although… I bought this knit tunic over a year ago, so I doubt they’ll have it in stock. But I’m sure you’ll find something else that you love. :]
@ The Clothes Horse: Aw, it’s nice to know that I am not the only one. :] Good luck with your packing.
@ Anna: hey girl! It’s been so long. :] Thanks for stopping in! I hope things are well with you.

Apartment searching is heinous, especially this time of year. My BF and I managed to get one (in a college town no less) and we have the whole “moving in” process to look forward too. Ugh.
On another note, your outfit is fabulous. You always look so amazing, I’m supremely jealous.

This has nothing to do with the content of your post, but this is the first time I’ve come across your blog and I had to tell you that you are absolutely gorgeous!

@ Muriel Mercurial: Oh, you’re telling me! Especially with the school semester about to start. Everyone is trying to find a particular place. It’s awful. I am NOT looking forward to moving, but I would rather move than have no place to move. ;] & thank you. I certainly try; to look nice, I mean.
@ WendyB: Thank you. :]
@ Anjeanette: Aww, why thank you. =] That is so nice of you.
