apricot’s closet: saturday’s outfit.
Shirt was Lover’s, until it shrunk in the dryer. I ruthlessly claimed it as mine without really asking him; cutoffs were originally skinnies that never fit right; tights from Target (note the tear that seemed to get increasingly bigger as the day went on. I can never manage to keep from ripping my tights or stockings); shoes from Ross; jewelry is my own & the bag was from Wetseal.
I hated this outfit; it seemed like a good idea at the time, but as soon as I walked out I could feel my cheeks turning red at the realization that I really didn’t want to wear this today. I was in a rush; I didn’t thoroughly think this through & it certainly didn’t fit my mood. I would have enjoyed this outfit on another day. Maybe when I felt extra bummy, extra manly. But yesterday was just not the right day. I contemplated going back to change, but I was already near my destination.

@ abby: it is! So are thrift stores, I think. Both places (Ross & thrift stores) require a handful of patience, sorting through the clothes. I haven’t found one Ross that was actually organized, clean & uncluttered… so it’s a challenge, but it’s definitely worth it. :]

I shopped at Ross once, when I was in florida. I don’t think they have them here?
